La Sociedad Castellano Manchega de Geriatría y Gerontología convoca, dentro de los actos programados para la 1ª Semana Nacional del Envejecimiento Saludable que se celebrará en Albacete entre los días 23 y 29 de abril de 2.020, el concurso fotográfico:
Los Mayores y la Función – fotodecana 2020
El concurso está abierto a participantes de cualquier nacionalidad siempre que tengan más de 18 años. En el concurso podrán participar fotógrafos profesionales o aficionados. Uno de los premios del certamen recaerá necesariamente en un participante mayor de 64 años a fecha de inicio de recepción de fotografías. Para poder optar a este premio, los participantes deberán acreditar su edad aportando fotografía o imagen escaneada de documento nacional de identidad, carné de conducir o pasaporte. La no presentación de dicho documento supondrá que el participante es menor de 65 años.
Las imágenes deberán mostrar aspectos del envejecimiento más allá de los clichés y estereotipos habituales. Se primarán aquellas fotografías que aborden el envejecimiento desde una perspectiva positiva teniendo en cuenta la integración del mayor en la sociedad y su funcionamiento autónomo dentro de ella. La organización se reserva el derecho de inadmitir aquellas imágenes que atenten contra la dignidad de las personas.
Se podrán enviar fotografías realizadas en cualquier ubicación. Serán aceptados tanto interiores como exteriores (es decir: calles, playas, trenes, parques, restaurantes, caminos de tierra, etc.). No existen limitaciones en cuanto a técnica fotográfica.
No se establece ninguna restricción en cuanto al tipo o la marca de la cámara fotográfica, incluidos móviles, siempre que el archivo que se remita al concurso (en formato .jpg) tenga una resolución mínima de 240px y un tamaño en el lado menor de 2.700px.
Las fotos se pueden presentar en blanco y negro o en color. Las fotos no deben ser retocadas con excepción de los ajustes básicos de cuarto oscuro. No se aceptarán fotografías que muestren marcas de agua o firmas. Se evitarán igualmente los marcos.
Los participantes que lo deseen pueden enviar un número máximo de tres (3) fotografías. Se valorará positivamente aquellas fotografías realizadas a partir del día primero de abril de 2019.
Todas las imágenes deben ser propiedad del autor. El autor es responsable de los derechos de imagen derivados de cada fotografía y se hace responsable de cualquier reclamación por derechos de imagen que se produzca.
La organización apoya plenamente los derechos de los fotógrafos. La propiedad de la imagen permanecerá en poder del autor. Al enviar una fotografía al concurso el autor autoriza a la organización, en caso de resultar premiada o finalista, a usar la fotografía en la exposición que se celebrará durante la 1ª Semana Nacional del Envejecimiento Saludable, así como en otras exposiciones que se puedan celebrar. También autoriza a la organización a su uso en medios impresos, electrónicos, redes sociales o campañas de publicidad que desarrolle, siempre citando el nombre del autor. Las fotografías no seleccionadas como finalistas serán eliminadas un mes después de la publicación del resultado de la decisión del jurado.
Las imágenes se enviarán al correo electrónico: fotodecana@gmail.com haciendo constar nombre, apellidos, edad, teléfono, localidad, país. Se indicará el lugar y fecha de realización de la fotografía. Si lo desea, el autor podrá añadir un título de la fotografía y/o una breve descripción de la imagen. Adjuntará fotografía o imagen escaneada de documento que acredite la edad del participante, si lo desea.
Enviar imágenes al Concurso implica que el participante acepta y es conocedor del hecho de que la organización puede recibir y evaluar sus datos de registro. Los participantes aceptan que sus datos personales, incluyendo (pero no limitado a) nombre, apellidos, dirección de email y teléfono sean recogidos, procesados y almacenados, así como utilizados con el propósito de llevar a cabo y administrar este concurso fotográfico. Los participantes pueden acceder, revisar, rectificar o cancelar sus datos personales registrados en la organización en cualquier momento, enviando un email a: fotodecana@gmail.com. En ningún caso la organización cederá a terceras personas dato alguno de los participantes salvo la lógica lista de finalistas y premiados.
El plazo de envío de fotografías estará abierto desde el día primero de octubre de 2019 hasta las 23:59 horas del día 31 de enero de 2020.
Al enviar sus imágenes, el participante acepta los términos y condiciones de estas bases.
El jurado estará compuesto por:
- dos miembros de la Sociedad Castellanomanchega de Geriatría y Gerontología,
- dos fotógrafos con amplia experiencia.
- un secretario que tendrá voto de calidad en caso de empate.
Las decisiones del jurado serán inapelables.
Del total de fotografías recibidas se seleccionarán 40 imágenes finalistas que formarán parte de la exposición. De entre ellas se seleccionarán las tres premiadas.
La decisión del jurado será publicada en la web del concurso www.fotodecana.net. La organización contactará con los tres fotógrafos premiados vía e-mail y/o telefónica.
Premios:
- un primer premio dotado con 500€ y diploma.
- un segundo premio dotado con 200€ y diploma.
- un tercer premio dotado con 100€ y diploma.
Uno de los premios será para un fotógrafo o fotógrafa mayor de 64 años. En caso de que ni el primer ni segundo premio fueran otorgados a fotógrafo/as de más de 64 años, el tercer premio quedará reservado para este grupo de participantes. Ningún participante podrá obtener más de un premio.
Los premios se entregarán en el acto de inauguración de la exposición que se celebrará en Albacete en abril de 2.020.

La Sociedad Castellano Manchega de Geriatría y Gerontología announces, within the events scheduled for the 1st National Week of Healthy Aging to be held in Albacete between April 23 and 29, 2.020, the photo contest:
Los Mayores y la Función – fotodecana 2020
The contest is open to participants of any nationality, provided they are over 18 years of age. Professional or amateur photographers may participate in the contest. One of the prizes of the contest will necessarily go to a participant over 64 years old on the start date of receiving photographs (october 1, 2019). To qualify for this award, participants must prove their age by providing a photograph or scanned image of a national identity document, driver’s license or passport. Failure to submit that document will mean that the participant is under 65 years old.
The images should show aspects of aging beyond the usual clichés and stereotypes. Those photographs that address aging from a positive perspective will take precedence, taking into account the integration of the elderly in society and its autonomous functioning within it. The organization reserves the right to ignore those images that threaten the dignity of people.
Photographs taken at any location may be sent. Both indoors and outdoors will be accepted (ie streets, beaches, trains, parks, restaurants, roads, etc.). There are no limitations regarding photographic technique.
No restrictions are established on the type or brand of the camera, including mobile phones, provided that the file that is submitted to the contest (in .jpg format) has a minimum resolution of 240px and a size on the smaller side of 2,700 px.
The photos can be presented in black and white or in color. Photos should not be retouched except for the basic darkroom adjustments. Photographs showing watermarks or signatures will not be accepted. Frames will also be avoided.
Participants can send a maximum number of three (3) photographs. Those photographs taken from the first day of April 2019 will be positively valued.
All images must be the property of the author. The author is responsible for the image rights derived from each photograph and is responsible for any claims for image rights that occur.
The organization supports the rights of photographers. Image ownership will remain with the author. By submitting a photo to the contest, the author authorizes the organization, in case of being awarded or a finalist, to use the photograph in the exhibition that will be held during the 1st National Week of Healthy Aging, as well as in other exhibitions that may be held. It also authorizes the organization to use it in print, electronic media, social networks or advertising campaigns that it develops, always citing the name of the author. The photographs not selected as finalists will be deleted one month after the publication of the result of the jury’s decision.
The images will be sent to the email: fotodecana@gmail.com along with the name, surname, age, telephone, location and the country of the photographer. The place and date of the photograph will be indicated. If desired, the author may add a photo title and / or a brief description of the image. You will attach a photograph or scanned image of the document proving the participant’s age, if you wish.
Sending images to the Contest implies that the participant accepts and is aware of the fact that the organization can receive and evaluate its registration data. Participants accept that their personal data, including (but not limited to) name, surname, email address and telephone number are collected, processed and stored, as well as used for the purpose of conducting and administering this photo contest. Participants can access, review, rectify or cancel their personal data registered in the organization at any time, by sending an email to: fotodecana@gmail.com. The organization will not transfer to third parties any data of the participants except the logical list of finalists and winners.
The deadline for sending photographs will be open until 23:59 hours on January 31, 2020.
By submitting their images, the participant accepts the terms and conditions of these rules.
The jury will be formed by:
- two members of Sociedad Castellanomanchega de Geriatría y Gerontología,
- two photographers with extensive experience.
- a secretary who will have a quality vote in case of a tie.The decisions of the jury will be final.
From the total of received photographs, 40 finalist images will be selected that will be part of the exhibition. Among them, the three winners will be selected.
The jury’s decision will be published on the contest website www.fotodecana.net. The organization will contact the three award-winning photographers via e-mail or telephone.
Awards:
- first prize: € 500 and diploma.
- second prize: € 200 and diploma.
- third prize: € 100 and diploma.
One of the awards will be for a photographer over 64 years old. In the event that neither the first nor second prize were awarded to photographer over the age of 64, the third prize will be reserved for this group of participants. No participant may obtain more than one prize.
The prizes will be presented at the opening ceremony of the exhibition that will be held in Albacete in April 2,020.
